O2 Grants for Young People to improve their community

Santander Foundation

The Santander Foundation now has two grants programmes to help disadvantaged people in the UK. Santander Community Plus provides grants of up to £5,000. Mars in the Community


The Mars in the Community programme supports projects and activities which promote the development of cohesive, healthy and sustainable communities.  The programme is open to local charities, community groups and schools within a 10 mile radius of the Slough site.
Decisions are made four times a year and typically grants do not exceed £2,000.  Applications can be made through the Mars in the Community Website www.marsinthecommunity.co.uk

The Co-operative Community Fund Grants

Grants, between £100 and £2,000 are available to community, voluntary, or self-help groups to run projects that carry out positive work in the community
A project must: address a community issue provide a good long-term benefit to the community support co-operative values and principles ideally be innovative in its approach. For more details please visit:

Galaxy Hot Chocolate Fund is looking to support warm hearted people and projects. They help small, local community based projects and community minded people with £300 to help people or groups with their community programmes.
