As Christmas decorations fill the shops, the deadline for the Newbury Weekly News Parcel Fund draws even nearer.
Anyone who would like to donate to the fund should send cheques payable to ‘NWN Over 80s’ Christmas Parcel Fund’ to Joanne Fulker, NWN, Newspaper House, Faraday Road, Newbury RG14 2DW. Alternatively you can donate online: https://www.findmeagrant.org/wberks/tla/browse.aspx
Food for the parcels has already been ordered and is now being stored by Sainsburys and Newbury Weekly News are in the process of gathering up many little green willing and helpful cubs from all over Newbury who will be there on Sunday 1st December together with Vodafone and Sainsbury’s employees packing our 2,150 food parcels.
